I decided to apply for GetGo debit Visa card because my points expired for not earning points for the last 12 months. Thinking that this card may come handy in order for my account to keep active if I don't fly within a year from my last flight. There's a promo conjunction when getting this card and I'm taking the opportunity for it.

How to earn points?
For Debit Card:
For every PHP88 you spend using your Cebu Pacific GetGo Credit Card, you earn 1 GetGo point. Aside from this, GetGo will be giving you an additional 1 GetGo point for every PHP5 you spend on Cebu Pacific, as this is one of the perks of being a GetGo member.
Sample Computation:
Cebu Pacific Ticket: PHP 5,000
GetGo Points from Credit Card: 56
GetGo Points from Cebu Pacific: 1,000
TOTAL: 1,056 GetGo Points
TOTAL: 1,056 GetGo Points
For Credit Card:
For every PHP30 you spend using your Cebu Pacific GetGo Credit Card, you earn 1 GetGo point. Aside from this, GetGo will be giving you an additional 1 GetGo point for every PHP5 you spend on Cebu Pacific, as this is one of the perks of being a GetGo member.

My experience using GetGo card
- There are some mechanics that GetGo didn't put on their website. Points from the card will reflect 1st week of succeeding month. Meanwhile, points from Robinsons Supermarket will reflect 7 days from the purchase date provided that you have presented your GetGo membership card. I got the info when I message their facebook page.
- There is 3% Service Fee for Foreign Currency Transactions. I message their facebook page why there's a discrepancy on my card when I booked in Klook. Then I knew that there's a service fee and this is not indicated on their site.
- The benefit of early alerts to ALL Cebu Pacific seat sales worked only once, I receive an email once for the upcoming seat sale then nothing more on the next seat sales.
- We exchange emails by Unionbank and GetGo Team regarding the Klook Promo code that was not given to me when I get the card. The branch I went to was not advised regarding the promo that it takes couple of weeks to resolve it (Actually, a month or so). This concern was escalated to the GetGo team Supervisor and both parties pointing each other to resolve it. After getting a call from the GetGo Team Supervisor, I waited another 14 days after a month of exchanging email from the GetGo team to receive the code.
- NOTE!!! It should be given the when you get your physical card.
- UPDATE: I received the code on Dec. 11, 2017 yet the duration of the code didn't extend. It took two months until I got it.
- I have to email their customer service AGAIN for the 500 bonus GetGo points Promo that did not reflect on or before 14 days from the end of each month after following all their mechanics. It takes couple of days after exchanging email AGAIN.
- UPDATE: I received the 500 bonus points on Dec. 2, 2017. It took another month until they credited the points.
If you're not really concerned about the promo, this card is fine for earning GetGo points. Since I am into freebies & stuff, I was really disappointed with the GetGo Team on how they manage their promo for click baits. I may fall for it once because 500 points & Klook promo are a great deal, I never will fall for it twice.
