Tatlong Pulo for less than 400 pesos
Everything is not planned. Planned trips were always cancelled. Laging drawing nalang. We were thinking where's the best place to unwind because it was a hell of a week for us. Then we decided to go to Tatlong Pulo 12hrs before we go on a trip. We follow a facebook post for a tight budget tips and others are just to explore. Why Tatlong Pulo? because it was Czarita and Michael John (Czarita's cousin) plan already. Hahah Nakisunod lang po ako. Dem ig's account @czachi , @mjaycoo
Meeting time should be 10am at Ortiz St. but we were hungry. We bought snacks and water for the whole duration of the trip at Iloilo Supermarket. That is before Roberto's building.
Here's a chronological order of what we did and the total expense of the trip.
Line up for ticket.
Ortiz-Jordan Ticket prices roundtrip regular fare:
P14/head - Day time
P20/head - Night time |
| Right your name on the sheet with your Paraw name (that's on your ticket) after getting your tickets |
Give your tickets to the conductor before boarding the Paraw.
Have a safe trip! It's just 15mins from the Ortiz Wharf. |
On Jordan Wharf, a guy will offer to write your name on the guests list and if you need transportation to your designated places. He will accompany you to the tourism department just a few steps.
Prices differ. We chose Tricycle for P600 roundtrip because we are just 3 persons. |
There's our tricycle driver who loves to text while driving. It's a 45-60minutes drive to Tatlong Pulo.
Take note! It's still a rocky road when getting near to the islands. A high cliff to drive. Better be ready because we didn't expect that. |
| After getting on to the top, you will walk almost 1km to the resorts. |
| We chose Tatlong Pulo because it is not crowded and got a best view of the Islets. This way. That’s on the right side, just follow a small path. |
| You’ll get to see this sign again while walking. |
| Follow the sign. Huwag lang ma wrong turn. Char! |
| Hello from the other side! We’re almost there! |
| The caretaker will greet you before the entrance of the resort. Entrance fee and Cottage fee are also posted on the entrance. There’s a sari-sari store which is dollar price. We bought iced water for 7pesos. Lol. They offer charging of gadgets. Just tell them what time you need it because there’s no electricity in the area so they bring the gadgets on the other side. |
| We were told to stay in the kubo area and see what we’ve got. An awesome view and a peaceful place. Walang katao-tao that time. We just talked and talked. We wanted to go to that island on the photo but we need to rent a kayak. |
| Pak! Ganern! Make most of your time bond with each other and have lots of photos! |
| Uwi na po kami! Texted manong driver an hour before our departure but he's up there na pala hahaha |
| We going up now! Aja! It was tiring that we rushed to sit inside the tricycle and had our way back to Jordan Wharf. We fall asleep until we reached at the wharf. Hahahah |
| Til next time Guimaras! Mandatory photo. |
| Looking at the prices though I know how much it is. Just being sure. Hahaha |
| May naglabay nga gwapa! |
| Yay! Got it! We going to board the Hollywood! Sosyal! |
| Don’t ever ever forget to write down your names! |
| We're getting into Hollywood. |
| So we were the last 3 passengers again before departing. Hahaha OMG! Kami lagi hinihintay. Nakakataba ng puso. Bye bye! |
| Behind the Scene. It is best to have bonfire when you stay a night there but it's not allowed. |
What to bring:
Powerbank (No electricity there)
Play cards or other game boards (Para may mapaglaruan naman kayo, huwag lang yung tao. Char!)
Water. (Mauuhaw ka talaga, hindi lang sa pag-ibig.)
Total expenses:
Ortiz – Jordan vv. – 28 pesos
Tricycle – 200 pesos /head (we were just 3 persons)
Entrance to Tatlong Pulo – 100 pesos
