First Time in Bali, Indonesia | 2019

October 4, 2019

Bali was never in my bucket list because of the idea of that the place is for honeymoon, well it is. But this island is also rich in culture and tradition. I thought going to Bali will be that expensive and budget travelers are out there sharing their trip in cheapest way. Thank you budget travelers for unlocking another treasure box.

We booked a day tour package for USD40 maximum of 4persons already. You can check Sir Kadek Angga, Bali Holiday Tour facebook page for more details of the tour that they offer.

We haven't maximize our trip because travelling to one place from another took us longer than staying in our destination. Waiting lines are long that may take hours. So we decided to go to places that we wanted and with all thanks to our private driver that helped us deciding where to go next.

I booked a one way ticket during piso fare of Cebu Pacific last December 2018. GetGo had a sale last March 2019 which I booked my friend with 100 GetGo points per way. Another friend of mine wanted to fly with us but he had to book a regular fare which cost him much.
We got a chance to book local flights in a cheaper price also, so when you want to get a cheaper plane ticket, you need to wait for months for your trip.

WHAT TO BRING?

  • Adapter - they commonly use type C so better bring an adapter and also an extension wire.
  • Medicine - if you have sensitive stomach like mine, and gets to eat different food for the next three hours, I probably get bloated.
  • Tumbler - you need to be hydrated all throughout your journey
  • Umbrella - we don't know the weather so it's better to be ready
  • Sunblock when going to the beach because it is really hot there.
  • Comfy shoes & outfit
